Social Development department reiterates commitment to enhancing SASSA services

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and dedication to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services throughout an engagement along with the agency's senior managers in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% on the registered pupils while in the training sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
